We did not get to vote on the lobbyist or the full time lawyer at 200k. Why are they so afraid to go on the record in favor of raising taxes? Then as the citizens are not liking the thought of raising their sales tax, they change the name to a safety tax. We had a great opportunity to get a Buckees here that would have generated 6 to 10 million in sales tax revenue. this would have targeted those drivers going through the 81 corridor. The very reason they want to raise your sales tax. Well they could have done that and not lobby to raise your sales tax. Now with the new Event center and no longer a Sportsplex. we can get those tourist and drivers to create more revenue.
